Jonas Brothers release new single ‘Waffle House’

The Jonas Brothers have released the second single from their upcoming highly anticipated album, conveniently titled The Album, which is due to be released on May 12th. Waffle House is a catchy pop driven tune inspired not by waffles, but about sitting down with the people you love the most and ‘making your dreams come true’. There is a sense that the Jonas Brothers are writing from personal experience throughout, particularly in the chorus; “Deep conversations at the Waffle House / Headstrong father and a determined mother / That’s why some nights we tried to kill each other / But you know it’s always love” possibly inspired by the bands split in 2013. The Jonas Brothers reunited in 2019 with the album Happiness Begins and have been releasing music on and off since, alongside performing sold out shows across America and Europe.

Waffle House comes not long after Wings, the first single from The Album. There is a theme of short, catchy bubblegum pop within both singles, but this seems to be working for the brothers; both songs are popular on TikTok and are well-loved among fans. There is no denying that Waffle House will get stuck in your head for all of the right reasons, and will undoubtedly be a song of the summer for fans of the Jonas Brothers.
